Tried this last night it worked/plays perfectly on my MacBook 12'.
In the past getting it to work has been a pain. Now, all you need is the GOG version of Fallout New Vegas. https://www.gog.com/game/fallout_new_vegas_ultimate_edition then unzip the file, go to this page, http://portingkit.com/game/745 click install now, install the porting kit app to your apps folder, reclick Install Now, it will fire up the Porting Kit app and ask you to select the install .exe file from Fallout. It will install, then add a Fallout icon into your apps folder. Thats it! No messing around with .ini files or .dll files. If you want, you can go to http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/51664/ and download the bug fix patch (for all DLC) unzip, and drag it into the Data folder in Fallout 3 (Right click on the Fallout 3 icon, click Show Package Content, click Drive_c/GOG Games/Fallout New Vegas/Data and copy the patch in, it will ask you to Merge the contents). I was blown away by how painless and well it runs on this little laptop, thought I'd share in case anyone wants to play Fallout on their Mac.
