I can't believe I'm not looking at an official piece of Sega artwork. It could easily have been the cover to the Mega Drive comics they released. Amazing!

What can I say? It's absolutely fantastic! Just like the other Sonic series art you have done, the characters' proportions, posing and colouring are spot on, complimented in combination with the surrounding visuals, which are oozing with classic '90s Sonic style.
Moreover, what is the ace coincidental cherry on top of the cake is the fact that, unknown to you, I actually have a cap with an almost identical render of Classic Sonic on it! Thus, upon seeing this art, I immediately had to photograph it together with said cap, along with a deserved thumbs up from me:
